Charlotte weather: Sunny Friday, then more rain coming Saturday

The Charlotte area will enjoy a sunny Friday before more rain returns to the area Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.

Friday’s high should reach 67 degrees, and the sunny weather should last all day.

But the rain comes Saturday, starting with a 30 percent chance of precipitation after 4 a.m. During the day, there’s a 90 percent chance of rain, the weather service said, with a quarter- to half-inch of rain possible.

The high temperature is expected to reach 59 degrees.

Showers are likely to continue Saturday night. On Sunday, there’s a 30 percent chance of showers, mostly in the mid-afternoon, with a high near 72.

Monday looks to be sunny and 67 degrees. Naturally.
