Guess who everyone’s talking about this morning?

Today’s news shows are filled with discussion about Donald Trump booting a baby out of a rally, and about Trump declining to endorse House Speaker Paul Ryan and Sen. John McCain in their respective races.

Then there’s the Obama birther thing making a comeback.

But the most striking, scary moment of the day – and hey, it’s only 9 a.m. – came when MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski interviewed retired Gen. Michael Hayden earlier today about Trump.

During that interview, Scarborough describes how during a recent national security briefing, Trump asked three times about the use of nuclear weapons. At one point, Trump asked: “If we have them, why can’t we use them?”

Scarborough’s recollection begins at about the one-minute mark. At 1:20, look at the faces of the panel and guest as what Scarborough describes sinks in.
