Time to start profiling Trump’s inner circle

Frank T. Cerabino is calling for a complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States through Mar-a-Lago until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.

The Mar-a-Lago Club is being run by Donald Trump who has imported nearly 67 percent of his wives from conflict-torn areas in Eastern Europe. Furthermore, he has chosencooks, waiters and housekeepers who slip in and out of the country legally by way of the H2B visa program.

The potential threat posed by the ongoing and unnecessary importation of foreign-born domestic partners and laborers through Mar-a-Lago should raise red flags during this time of global terror.

If they are Muslims, this could be yuge. Yet, nobody has interviewed Trump’s marital partners or staffers as to their true religious affiliations.

Sure, Trump went through a very public and Christian marriage ceremony in Palm Beach with this current wife, Melania Knauss, of Slovenia. But that wedding was 10 years ago, giving Knauss plenty of time to travel and become radicalized, raising the possibility that she may be Muslim.

And even though ISIS represents a fraction of 1 percent of the world’s 1.5 billion Muslims, this is no time for rational thinking. All it takes is one Mar-a-Lago Muslim to inflict serious damage on the Palm Beach winter social season.

Trump has shown signs of severe radicalization over time, going from a hedonistic, pro-choice supporter of Democrats to a gun-loving religious fundamentalist who claims that a holy book is even more important than his own seminal text in shameless self-promotion, “The Art of the Deal.”

We can’t possibly make America great again without making Mar-a-Lago great again, and if this means profiling two-thirds of Trump’s wives and all of his imported domestic workers, well that’s a small price to pay for peace of mind.

The matter of determining one’s true religion will be a tricky matter. Manywill probably lie or claim to love Trump in order to get into this country.

Which is where former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush comes in. Bush suggested a religious test be established in accepting refugees from Syria. Take the Christians, but not the Muslims, he proposed.

How? Make the refugees “prove” their religion, Bush said. Perhaps Bush could administer this testing by presiding over a Mar-a-Lago pig roast.

Anyone who doesn’t eat the pork is deported. This may cause some vegetarians and observant Jews to be wrongfully rounded up, but this is no time to worry about the Constitution and historical parallels.

The ones who pass the food test will be brought in for questioning. A sample question might be, complete the following” “A,B,C,D,E,F, G …” The correct answer is “H.” Those who say, “hahd” would be deported – after some light water-boarding in the grand ballroom.
