Clover High’s Ashlyn Goforth is The Herald’s high school athlete of the week.
Goforth, a senior midfielder on the girls’ lacrosse team, scored seven goals, had two ground balls and two caused turnovers in a 14-10 win over Dutch Fork in the season-opener on Feb. 24.
Goforth followed that up with six goals, three groundballs and one caused turnover in a 12-8 victory at River Bluff on Feb 27.
