Panthers playoff tickets sell out in minutes

After Sunday's big win by the Panthers over the Falcons to clinch the NFC South Division title, many fans were left scrambling to get their hands on Saturday's Wild Card game tickets, where the Panthers will host the Arizona Cardinals.

When it struck 8 p.m. on Sunday night, Panthers officials said it only took 15 minutes for the 7,000 allotted playoff tickets to be sold online.

Lines started forming at the ticket counter at the Bank of America Stadium around 8 a.m. on Monday.

Seats were limited, with some only available in the club section and very little scattered throughout the stadium.

Debbie Tench bought her son a club level ticket to the game. She says it's a $300 Christmas gift.

"We went online last night looking for tickets, we didn't quite see anything. We came by here to the team store and stopped by the ticket office and got lucky got him a ticket for Christmas. He's pretty excited right now," said Tench.

Tickets are still available through third party websites, such as Stubhub where some tickets are going for more than $5,000?.
