Matchup to Watch

Michael Carter-Williams vs. Bobcats point guards: Carter-Williams has clearly been the best rookie in this class. The Bobcats’ Kemba Walker suffered a groin injury Wednesday in Washington in the victory over the Wizards.

• Carter-Williams leads the rookies in just about every signficant statistic: Points, rebounds, assists (6.3 per game), steals (1.88) and minutes (34.6).

• The Bobcats can struggle this season on offense, but not against the Sixers; they average 106.7 points and 46 percent shooting versus Philly.

• Walker has 23 assists and one turnover this season against the 76ers.

• This is the Bobcats’ fan appreciation night. The first 10,000 fans in the building will receive T-shirts and there will be various prize giveaways.

Did you know?

Coach Steve Clifford considers free-throw attempts a key stat. The Bobcats have made more free throws against the 76ers (61) than the 76ers have attempted versus the Bobcats.
