Zach Jarrett (Hickory) hit a a two-run homer Sunday to lead host Charlotte past Louisiana Tech (10-13, 1-7 C-USA).
Brad Elwood (Piedmont) also had two RBIs for the 49ers (10-12, 4-8), who swept the weekend series.
N.C. State 9, Pittsburgh 2: The Wolfpack, which plays Charlotte on Tuesday at BB&T Ballpark, used a five-run second inning as a springboard to its sixth consecutive win and a sweep of its weekend series against Pitt (11-15, 4-8).
Catcher Andrew Knizner went 4-for-4 for the Wolfpack (17-6, 6-5 ACC).
Saint Louis 6, Davidson 1: The Billikens (17-10, 4-2 Atlantic 10) held host Davidson (13-9, 3-3) to three hits.
Memphis 4, East Carolina 2: Darien Stubbs’ inside-the-park home run capped a four-run seventh inning lifting Memphis (17-6, 2-1 American Athletic) past host ECU (17-12, 1-2).
Clemson 6, Wake Forest 2: Eli White hit a three-run homer to lead the host Tigers (13-13, 5-7 ACC) past Wake Forst (19-11, 6-6).
South Carolina 8, Georgia 5: Freshman Hunter Taylor broke a 4-4 tie in the bottom of the sixth with his first home run, and Madison Stokes added a two-run double in a three-run seventh to lead the host Gamecocks (19-9, 5-4 SEC) past Georgia (18-11, 5-4).
First baseman Kyle Martin had two hits, including his team-leading sixth home run, to extend his hitting streak to 15 games.
Western Carolina 12, Citadel 9: The Catamounts (12-12, 4-9 Southern) overcame a 4-0 deficit to defeat The Citadel (14-12, 0-3) and sweep their three-game weekend series in Cullowhee.
Tyler Powell (Myers Park) pitched the final 42/3 innings to pick up the win. Powell (1-0) allowed one run on five hits and struck out four.
Jacob Hoyle (St. Stephens) and Brett Pope (West Iredell) had two hits each for Western Carolina.
Wofford 6, N.C. Central 4: Will Stillman (Charlotte Christian) picked up his 10th save as the host Terriers (22-7) swept a three-game weekend series against N.C. Central (11-15).
Wofford scored four runs in the fifth to go up 6-1. Stillman pitched the ninth, allowing one run.
The Terriers stole five bases and had two other runners cut down by Eagles catcher James Dey (Olympic).
UNC Asheville 5, Gardner-Webb 3: UNC Asheville (14-14, 3-6 Big South) scored two runs in the top of the ninth to go up 5-1, and the two runs proved crucial when the Bulldogs (16-12, 3-6) scored two in the bottom of the inning.
Winthrop 3, Coastal Carolina 0: Sophomore Matt Crohan held host Coastal Carolina (20-7, 5-1 Big South) hitless through 62/3 innings and Winthrop (18-10, 2-4) snapped the Chanticleers’ 11-game winning streak.
Crohan (3-2) allowed one hit and struck out 12 in eight innings.
UALR 7, Appalachian State 5 (10): The Mountaineers (7-21, 2-10 Sun Belt) couldn’t hold a three-run lead heading into the bottom of the eighth and lost to Arkansas-Little Rock (1-13, 7-4) in 10 innings.
The Trojans won the game on a two-run homer by Joseph Palino.
William & Mary 4, Elon 3: Lucas Bakker carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning and allowed just two hits, but host William & Mary (12-11, 4-2 Colonial) took advantage of five errors to down the Phoenix (12-14, 4-2).
James Venuto homered for Elon to tie the score 3-3 in the top of the ninth, but William & Mary won the game in the bottom of the inning on an unearned run.
Radford 6, Campbell 2: Radford (15-11, 5-1 Big South) handed host Campbell (20-8, 4-5) its first three-game sweep since May 2011.
The Camels played 40 three-game series since suffering their last sweep. The Camels won 29 of those series, sweeping 19.
