Brevard (1-6, 1-3 SAC) at Queens (2-5, 2-2)

The Royals begin a four-game run of games in Charlotte on Saturday when they host the Tornados. Queens snapped a three-game losing streak last Saturday, beating Tusculum 86-60. Brevard won its first game of the season Sunday, edging Lenoir-Rhyne 59-56. Tornados F Darius Moose, a China Grove Carson grad, leads the SAC in scoring at 22.3 points per game. Bill Kiser

Niagara (1-5) at Davidson (7-1)

Belk Arena, Davidson, 7 p.m.

The Wildcats look to get even with the Purple Eagles on Saturday in their final home game of 2014. Davidson lost 83-72 in its first-ever game against Niagara, of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, on Dec. 11, 2013. The Wildcats enter Saturday’s game riding a five-game winning streak, including a 110-99 victory at Montana on Wednesday. The Purple Eagles have lost their past four games. B.K.

Furman (2-5) at Gardner-Webb (5-4)

Paul Porter Arena, Boiling Springs, 7 p.m.

The Bulldogs cap a three-game homestand with a nonconference matchup against the Paladins of the Southern Conference. Gardner-Webb has won its past two games, but the last – an 82-66 victory over Thomas – was seven days ago. Furman has lost four of its past five games, but did win its SoCon opener last Saturday, 74-64 over Samford. B.K.
