Butler’s Benny LeMay commits to Charlotte 49ers

Butler High fullback Benny LeMay has committed to the Charlotte 49ers.

LeMay, a 5-foot-10, 205-pound junior, helped lead Butler to an 11-4 record last season. LeMay’s brother, former Butler High wide receiver Uriah LeMay, is on the 49ers team. Uriah, who transferred from Georgia, was redshirt freshman during the 2013 season.

Benny LeMay, a Southwestern 4A all-conference pick, rushed 211 times for 1,565 yards and 24 touchdowns. He averaged 7.4 yards per carry. He caught 19 passes for 210 yards and three scores. He has more than 3,000 yards rushing in his career.
