Brady Berger, Charlotte Catholic: Completed 9-of-10 passes for 191 yards and four touchdowns in a 48-14 victory over Mount Tabor.

Davis Cheek, Butler: Was 9-for-13 passing for 243 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-28 victory over Mallard Creek Friday. He also ran for a score.

Emeka Emezie, Ben Cook, Marvin Ridge: Emezie, a 6-foot-4 receiver getting interest from ACC schools, caught two touchdown passes and threw for one in a 48-28 victory over a Concord Robinson team that had not allowed more than 27 points in a game all season. Cook had three interceptions.

Xavier McClain, Lincolnton: Had 26 carries for 246 yards, four touchdowns in a 68-27 victory over Eastern Randolph.

Aapri Washington, Mountain Island Charter: ran 11 times for 204 yards and three touchdowns in a 54-40 second round N.C. 1A playoff victory over Thomas Jefferson Academy. Washington was 4-for-6 passing for 83 yards, plus he had 15 tackles, one sack and one interception on defense.
