Cam Hamilton, Vance: Had 38 points, on 16-of-25 shooting, plus four assists, five rebounds and seven steals in a 86-74 victory over West Charlotte Tuesday. On Friday, he had 21 points, eight rebounds, four assists in a 65-53 victory over rival Mallard Creek.

Destiny Johnson, East Lincoln girls: Had 23 points, 12 rebounds, six steals, five blocks and two assists in a victory over North Lincoln on Wednesday. She had 22 points, seven rebounds, six assists, four steals and a block in Friday’s 57-38 victory over rival Lincolnton.

Karli Mason, Sun Valley girls: Had 31 points, including nine made 3-point shots, in a loss to Parkwood on Wednesday. On Friday, she had seven more 3-pointers made, plus 25 points, in a 65-45 victory over Albemarle.

Eleah Parker, Northside Christian girls: Had 20 points, 21 rebounds, five blocks, five steals in a 49-39 victory over Cannon on Friday.

Zailan Peeler, Myers Park: Had 31 points in a 67-52 victory over Porter Ridge Friday. Peeler is averaging 25 points in his past five games.

Sage Surratt, Lincolnton: Had 34 points, 10 rebounds, five assists in 78-64 season-opening victory over arch rival East Lincoln on Friday. Surratt, a 6-4 senior, played his first three seasons at East Lincoln.
