Friday night, UCLA and Kentucky will hook up in an NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 game and freshman sensations Malik Monk of Kentucky and UCLA’s Lonzo Ball will hook up.
But it won’t be the first time.
The two future NBA lottery picks played in high school. They played in a 2015 national tournament when they were juniors in high school. Monk had 50 points. Ball had 19 points, 15 assists and 12 rebounds.
