NCHSAA prep soccer playoff roundup: Myers Park upsets No. 2 Roberson

▪ Myers Park, a No. 15 seed, beat No. 2 Skyland Roberson 3-0 in a second round playoff Saturday. Myers Park, which will play at Pinecrest or Watauga in the third round next week, got goals from Taylor Bass, William Gourlay and Brady Hamel.

▪ Community School of Davidson beat South Davidson 8-0 in a second round 1A playoff. Logan Anderson had three goals and Keegan Miller added two. Issac Haddock and Nate Leach had two assists and goalie Noah McLeod got the shutout.

▪ South Mecklenburg and Providence had second round matches moved to Monday due to poor field conditions brought out by recent heavy rains. Providence will play at Greensboro Page Monday at 6. Nationally ranked South Meck will host Mallard Creek Monday at 6.

▪ Hough got toals from Evan Ashbrook, Roman Uglehus and Trevor Stevenson in a 3-2 win over Southwest Guilford. Hough (18-2-3) got assists from Trevor Stevenson, Jayson Howard and Tristan Walker
