The third annual Hoodie’s House National High School Hoops Classic will be played Dec. 28-30 at Providence Day. The tournament was previously played at Ardrey Kell.
This year’s event features a strong boys national field led by Wheeler (Ga.), the No. 18-ranked team in USA Today’s Super 25 preseason poll. Wheeler is the reigning Georgia Class 6A state champion.
Also in the boys field is reigning tournament champion John Carroll (Md.) and Georgia powerhouse Douglas County, which features 6-foot-5 senior Brandon Robinson, a North Carolina recruit ranked among the nation’s top 75 seniors.

▪ Two top 75 national juniors: Wheeler (Ga.) point guard Darius Perry and Norcross (Ga.) forward Rayshaun Hammonds.
▪ Two national top 75 sophomores: John Carroll (Md.) point guard Immanuel Quickley and John Carroll (Md.) forward Nate Roberts.
▪ There will be more than 35 Division I recruits, including Georgia Tech recruit Romelo White of Wheeler and Rhode Island recruit Michael Tertsea of John Carroll.
▪ The girls field includes more than 15 Division I recruits, including Northside Christian’s Eleah Parker, Vance’s Ahlana Smith and Moriah Crisp of Bishop McNamara (Md.).
The tournament, formerly known as the Bojangles’ Shootout, has over the years included future professional players such as Stephen Curry, LaMarcus Aldridge, D’Angelo Russell, Raymond Felton, Lance Stephenson and Maya Moore.
