The annual Cam Newton 7-on-7 high school football tournament is Friday and Saturday at Providence Day School. The Panthers’ quarterback has committed to be on site throughout the event.

Twenty-six teams will participate. Each team will have 20 players and four coaches. There will be pool play Friday and double-elimination bracket play Saturday based on seeding from pool play. Games will begin each day at 9:30 a.m.

The top three teams get a monetary donation to their school, designated for the football team. First place receives $2,500; second $1,500; and third $1,000.

The event is open to the public. There is a $5 admission fee for non-players and coaches. Proceeds benefit the Cam Newton Foundation.
