The Hopewell Titans are one of the hottest girls’ team in North Carolina.
After going 11-14 in 2012-13, Hopewell is 39-6 under coach Tyrelle Anderson. The Titans (14-1) are ranked No. 16 overall in North Carolina by MaxPreps and have won four in a row since a 53-38 loss to Sweet 16 No. 2 Weddington.
Hopewell, No. 4 in the Sweet 16, doesn’t have a superstar or a double-figure scorer, but is winning with defense. Teams average 40.2 points against the Titans, who will play at A.L. Brown on Tuesday.
