Three Observer-area high school football coaches were named to the 2017 Shrine Bowl coaching staffs Thursday.
The 2017 Shrine Bowl game, played between some of the top high school seniors in North and South Carolina, will be held Dec. 16 at Wofford College. It’ll be the 81st time the game has been held.
York’s Bobby Carroll was named an assistant on the S.C. team. Weddington’s Tim Carson and South Meck’s Rocky White were named N.C. assistants.
