Matt Davidson’s 2 HRs lead Charlotte Knights to 6th win in a row

Matt Davidson hit a pair of two-run home runs, and Tim Anderson homered and drove in two runs Friday night to lead the Charlotte Knights to their sixth victory in a row, 8-3 over the Durham Bulls at BB&T BallPark.

Jacob Turner (3-1) went six innings to pick up the victory for Charlotte. He struck out five.

A run-scoring single by Andy Parrino and a sacrifice fly by Omar Narvaez staked Charlotte to a 2-1 lead in the second inning. Davidson’s two-run home run with one out in the third made it 4-1. Anderson’s blast, his second, came in the bottom of the sixth. He added a run-scoring single in the seventh that preceded Davidson’s second home run of the night and his sixth this season.
