The Gwinnett Braves rode a 16-hit attack en route to a 6-0 victory over the Knights Sunday afternoon, salvaging the final game of the three-game series. The nighr before, Gwinnett saw a 5-0 first-inning lead evaporate in an 8-6 loss.
The Knights had plenty of baserunners on Sunday, getting 10 hits off four Braves pitchers. But Charlotte was 0-for-10 with runners in scoring position and stranded 10 runners. Leury Garcia extended his hitting streak to 13 games for the Knights.
The Knights (37-41) return home Monday night to open a three-game series against Durham.
