A Mooresville-based NASCAR race team on its way to Texas ahead of this weekend's race suffered a setback when the car hauler caught fire along the way.
The hauler for the No. 46 car, driven by Michael Annett, caught fire Thursday on the way to Texas Motor Speedway. The crew was on its way for the AAA Texas 500.
According to HScott Motorsports' Facebook page, the crew lost two cars and at-track equipment.
No one was reportedly injured in the fire and everyone is safe. They say the No. 46 will be on the track for the race.
