Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry may have already hit one of the best shots of the year – and we’re only three weeks into the NBA season.
It happened late in the third quarter of Wednesday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Curry picked off a pass from the Grizzlies’ Zach Randolph and, thinking he’d been fouled by another Memphis player, tossed up a wild shot 29 feet from the basket as he fell down.
And, you guessed it, he made it.

“He had no intention of really taking that shot except he thought a whistle was coming,” an announcer said. No foul was called.
Curry finished the game with 28 points, and the Warriors beat the Grizzlies, 100 to 84, extending their perfect season so far.
