Matchup to Watch

Victor Oladipo vs. Courtney Lee: Oladipo is very dangerous, both in the fast break and off pick-and-roll. Lee is a solid defender who has grown comfortable of late in the Hornets’ offense.

Observations

▪ The Hornets are 1-1 against the Magic with the first two games at Orlando. They will play tonight and April 13 in Charlotte.

▪ Magic center Nikola Vucevic has been out of late with a strained right groin. Vucevic typically plays well against the Hornets. He has the bulk to make it difficult for Al Jefferson to post up deep in the lane.

Tap-ins

▪ The Magic has had success in Charlotte of late, winning four of the past six games at Time Warner Cable Arena.

▪ This is the last of seven consecutive home games on the Hornets’ schedule.

Did you know?

The Hornets are 5-7 this season against other Southeast Division teams.
