Tip-off time for Game 6 between Hornets, Heat announced

The Charlotte Hornets will host the Miami Heat at 8 p.m. Friday at Time Warner Cable Arena, the NBA announced Thursday.

After beating Miami 90-88 in Game 5 Wednesday to take a 3-2 series lead, the Hornets will get the chance to clich its first NBA playoffs series in 14 years.

The game will be televised nationally on ESPN as well as on Fox Sports Southeast locally.
