Matchup to Watch

Kyle Lowry vs. Kemba Walker: Lowry had a tremendous second half of last season. The Raptors contemplated trading him, but his worth at point guard was such that he’s now a core asset.

• The then-Bobcats swept the Raptors last season, but that’s somewhat misleading in that two of those three games were early in the season when the Raptors were losing regularly.

• Shooting guard DeMar DeRozan has been hurt, but that hasn’t slowed the Raptors – they’re 11-7 in his absence.

• The Raptors are coming off a long West Coast trip in which they went 2-4.

• The last game in this series was nearly a year ago – Jan. 20, 2014.

Did you know?

The Raptors, who are averaging 108.1 points per game, are 13-0 this season when holding an opponent to less than 100 points.
