Carolina Panthers defensive end Mario Addison (ankle) and cornerback Charles Tillman (knee) missed practice Wednesday and are not expected to play Sunday at New Orleans.
Panthers coach Ron Rivera said he’s still concerned about Tillman, who has sat out the past two games after hyperextending his right knee at Tennessee.
“He’s out there doing a lot with the trainers, but he hasn’t been able to get in and get any reps,” Rivera said. “We’re trying to be smart and make sure he’s OK.”
Rivera also said it was “not looking good” for Addison, who sprained his right ankle last week against Dallas and still had his foot in a cast as of Tuesday.

Defensive end Kony Ealy was limited with a stiff neck, but wideout Philly Brown participated fully after missing the past two games with a shoulder injury. Rivera wouldn’t say whether Brown would reclaim his starting spot from rookie Devin Funchess.
