Free agency in Carolina continues to creep along, but the Panthers did re-sign two free agents on Monday.
Cornerback James Dockery, who battled a shoulder injury most of 2013, and linebacker Jason Williams will be back with the team in 2014.
Dockery tweeted last week he would be re-joining the team after being the final restricted free agent the team had. He stood out at the end of the 2012 season when the team turned to its bench in the closing weeks to get playing time for the younger part of its roster.
Williams has been and likely will continue to be used primarily on the special teams unit. Williams blocked a punt against the Jets late in the 2013 season for his biggest play as a member of the Panthers.

With linebacker Jordan Senn signing with the Bears last week, the Panthers will likely turn to Williams, who was an unrestricted free agent, to be one of the leaders on the special teams unit.
