The Panthers put rookie receiver Philly Brown through another test on his injured shoulder Friday, and saw enough to list him as questionable for Saturday’s divisional-round game at Seattle.
Brown practiced in shoulder pads Thursday in Charlotte, and coach Ron Rivera said he planned to see how Brown’s left shoulder held up under contact during Friday’s walkthrough at the University of Washington’s indoor practice facility.
Brown is the Panthers’ fastest receiver and has made a couple of long catches since taking over the No. 3 receiver spot after Jason Avant was waived in November.
Brown’s status as questionable likely means the Panthers will not bring Stephen Hill up from the practice squad for the game.

Defensive tackle Star Lotulelei is out after undergoing surgery this week after he fractured a bone in his foot during Tuesday’s practice.
