Three questions with Carolina Panthers DT Vernon Butler:

Q. How’s your first training camp gone so far?

A. So far, so good. Still learning different things, getting better every day. Coming in working and trying to get better every day with (defensive line) coach Eric Washington.

Q. Is there anything you’ve learned this week about an NFL training camp?

A. Nah. I expected this because we had pretty much the same camp at Louisiana Tech, with practices and meetings all that. But we had two-a-days. So it’s pretty much better than college.

Q. What’s it been like joining a team coming off a Super Bowl season?

A. It’s a blessing to be with a team like this with great guys. I like coming here. I like coming to practice every day just to be around those guys. The way they take me in and help me, it means a lot.
