Not long after the Carolina Panthers selected Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey with the eighth pick in the Thursday’s NFL draft, the newest team member posted a photo of himself wearing his new NFL cap on Instagram.

McCaffrey – or @run_cmc on Instagram, posted a photo of himself with a white Carolina Panthers cap taken in his suburban Denver home with the message “Dreamed of putting on a @neweracap since I was 7. Blessed to be a Carolina Panther! #BBTB.”

#BBTB apparently means “Blessed by The Best.”

By 11 p.m., the post had been liked more than 45,000 times and was loaded with comments from Panthers fans.
