The Carolina Panthers have six picks in next month’s NFL draft, and recent history suggests they won’t use all of them.

The league released the 2016 NFL draft order Tuesday for the event that will be held April 28-30.

Carolina has a pick in each round except for the sixth, which they traded away in the 2015 season to get defensive end Jared Allen from the Bears.

The Panthers have overall picks No. 30, 62, 93, 129, 168 and 252. They did not receive a compensatory pick this season.

Panthers general manager Dave Gettleman has never picked a player in the seventh round since taking over in 2013. He has traded away four seventh-round picks in his three drafts.

Running back Tyler Gaffney is the latest Panthers’ draft selection under Gettleman, who took the Stanford product in 2014 in the sixth round with the 204th overall pick.
