The Panthers signed third-round draft pick Daryl Worley to a four-year contract on Tuesday, making Worley the third of five draft picks inked by the team.

Worley, a 6-foot-1 cornerback out of West Virginia, signed a standard rookie deal that will be around $3.1 million for the 77th overall pick.

A two-time All-Big 12 cornerback, Worley will have the opportunity to compete for a starting outside cornerback position opposite Bene Benwikere. Worley was one of three cornerbacks drafted by the Panthers less than two weeks ago along with second-rounder James Bradberry and fifth-round Zack Sanchez.

Bradberry and seventh-round tight end Beau Sandland signed with the team Monday. Sanchez and first-round defensive tackle Vernon Butler have yet to sign.

All five rookies will be in town by this weekend for rookie minicamp, which will be held Friday and Saturday.
