Three questions with Carolina Panthers G Andrew Norwell:
Q. Are you a mean person? You seem nice enough in the few times you talk to us, but is this a show or is this who you actually are?
A. Everybody’s got to have a switch. I turn the switch on when I go out on the field. I care about my teammates and I try to go hard every play.
Q. Where did the nickname “The White Buffalo” come from?
A. It came from Anthony Schlegel, the weight coach at Ohio State. He named me that. Ted Nugent’s “Great White Buffalo” song came on and just kind of got the nickname from that.
Q. You have Michael Oher of Blind Side fame to your left and an All-Pro center in Ryan Kalil to your right. Do you like flying under the radar?
A. Yeah. I like coming in and just doing my job. I’m a blue-collar-type of a guy. I like working hard.
