Cam Newton’s No. 1 Carolina Panthers jersey is the No. 2 top-selling jersey currently in the NFL’s online shop.
Super Bowl rival quarterback Peyton Manning’s No. 18 Denver Broncos jersey ranks fifth in overall sales on the site. Tom Brady of the New England Patriots claims the top spot.
Newton’s popularity has grown tremendously among shoppers, according to the NFL Players Association. Last fall, his jersey ranked 22nd in overall sales – lower on the list than Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, the Patriots’ Brady, and Manning, who was No. 5 last year.
Panthers tight end Greg Olsen has the third most popular NFL jersey among tight ends. Defensive linebacker Luke Kuechly has the top-selling defensive position jersey in the online store and ranks eighth overall.
