PGA Championship at Quail Hollow: Rain suspends play on Friday afternoon
PGA Championship update at 5:45
Play is scheduled to resume at the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Club at 6:25 p.m., following a Friday afternoon weather delay.
Play was suspended at 4:45, when a storm system passed through South Charlotte, with the threat of lightning and sometimes heavy rain.
When play was suspended, the last five three-player groupings of the second round had not started their second nine holes.

Matsuyama, ranked third in the world, was 5 under for the round when play was suspended and 6 under for the tournament, two strokes behind Kisner. Matsuyama had completed 14 holes Friday when play was suspended.
Kisner made an eagle on the par-5 No. 7 hole and finished the front nine with a 33 Friday.
