Dogs AND rocking chairs? CLT gets even sweeter
The Story
Stressed at the airport? Pet a pooch to calm down.
The Facts
– No, “pet a pooch” isn’t code. Charlotte Douglas International Airport now has therapy dogs walking the concourse, available for petting.
– The CLT Canine Crew wears blue and yellow “Pet Me” vests. (This does not give you permission to pet other people’s pets.)
– The dogs don’t bark. Yay!
– Of the eight dogs, many are rescues.
– Program is free – to you and to the airport.
– Dogs are available between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. most days.
