Charlotte native gets comedy series on CW
The story
Charlotte native Richard Keith, 32, is becoming kind of a big deal. He co-wrote a comedy series that will debut on the CW network this summer.
The facts
– The comedy series, “Significant Mother,” debuts on CW at 9:30 p.m. Aug. 3.

– Keith grew up in Fourth Ward and graduated from Watauga High at 16.
– Growing up he had two goals: make it in Hollywood or become a top ski racer.
– Keith was on the set of “Dawson’s Creek” in a bit role. He also had small roles in shows like “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Veronica Mars” and “Boston Public.”
– Other shows on CW: “Arrow,” “Jane The Virgin,” “The Flash,” and “The Vampire Diaries.”
