7 things I found while chilling at Saturday’s office
Saturday is so hot right now. Love their NoDa beer can designs.
For those of you not in the creative/advertising community, Saturday is a local, 12-person ad agency. Their clients include: ACTEGA, Brixx Wood Fired Pizza, The Catawba Riverkeeper, Crescent Communities, Metropolitan, NoDa Onslow Memorial Hospital, Woofums and more.
Saturday specializes in “Saturday” brands because Saturday is the day that you do what you love. Solid positioning.
Anyways, I creeped around their office and took photos with my iPhone. They also offered me a NoDa Cavu, which of course I accepted. Okay, first let’s take a quick spin.
Here are 7 things I found (other than excellent work):
(1) Font Wall. You know you’ve got some intense designers if you have a font wall and that sometimes fonts get taken retired if designers start to hate.
(2) Dog. Yup, spotted one under the desk. He (or she) seemed pretty chill and didn’t bark at me. Normally dogs bark at me.
(3) Pulley System. The building is an old Packard building and it has a working pulley system.
(4) Kegerator. NoDa’s Cavu and Woody & Wilcox on draft.
(5) Awards. Lots of them.
(6) White Board Walls. These were just scrubbed clean after a client meeting.
(7) Wooden Kitchen Chairs. Fairly old school chairs for an ad agency and not that I have anything against Rold Gold Pretzels, but I would have preferred to see some Snyder’s Buffalo Pretzel Bites.
