Try: The Pair; soup with half of any sandwich or side. ($7.85).

Try: The Sliders; your pick of three chicken salad sliders on mini buns. ($9.21).

Try: The Avocado Melt with avocado, goat cheese, roasted tomato, walnut pesto and spinach. ($8.61).

Try: The Southern BLT with bacon, lettuce, roasted tomato and pimento cheese. Complete this meal by adding your choice of chips. ($9.15).

Try: The Harvest Bowl; kale topped with quinoa, roasted sweet potatoes, orange glazed beets, toasted pumpkin and sunflower seeds topped with herbed tahini dressing and your choice of toasted bread on the side. ($9.69).

JJ’s Red Hots

Try: The Single Dog Combo with your choice of any hotdog, side and fountain drink or bottled water. ($8.65).

Try: The Smoked Salmon Sliders; housemade salmon sausage with pickled cucumber, red onion and remoulade. ($7.32). 

Try: The Chicken Tender Basket, grilled or hand breaded and fried with your choice of sauce. You can even add a side and a drink. ($9.73). 

Ru San’s 

2440 Park Rd.

Try: The Inaka Miso Udon noodle soup with shitake and button mushrooms, inari tofu, mixed vegetables and garlic with miso broth, topped with spinach. ($9.74). 

Try: The Chicken Fried Rice Lunch with pan fried rice, chicken, vegetables and egg. ($9.69). 

Try: The Shrimp Tempura Combo Lunch with shura; California roll, maguro, and unagi. ($9.74).

The People’s Market 

1315 East Blvd.

Try: The Bill Market Cobb salad with romaine, applewood bacon, egg, turkey, avocado, grape tomatoes, red onion and blue cheese with your choice of dressing. ($9.74).

Try: Sarah’s Chicken Sandwich with grilled or fried chicken breast, pickles and honey mustard on a brioche bun. ($8.12).

Try: The Vegan Burrito with vegan sausage, black beans, corn and pepper relish, guacamole, tortilla strips, pico de gallo and rice. Served in a wheat tortilla with chipotle salsa on the side. ($9.74).

Zen Fusion

Try: The Pad Thai that includes national Thai noodles with egg, bean sprouts, green onions, ground roasted peanuts and baked tofu. I recommend adding chicken as the protein. ($9.21).

Try: The Asian Stir Fry Specialties. Choose a meat and one of their stir fry styles. I recommend the vegetarian with tofu and thai basil stir fry that includes sauteed carrots, onions, mushrooms, bell peppers and basil topped in Thai light sweet basil sauce. Served with your choice of white or brown rice. ($9.21). 

Try: The Zen Fried Rice, stir fried with egg, onions, carrots and green peas. I recommend adding chicken as the protein. ($9.21).
