Charlotte woman a finalist for sexiest vegan, which is apparently a thing
PETA’s Sexiest Vegan Next Door contest
Dr. Harriet Davis, 43, a competitive bikini model, and family and sports medicine physician, is one of 10 female finalists, according to a release from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. There are 10 male finalists, too.
Davis runs a blog called Vegan Bikini Doc, where she shares vegan recipes (this one looks pretty good) and writes about healthy eating and fitness.
You can vote for the winner at PETA.org, where you’ll find pictures of the male and female finalists. (Pictures are mostly SFW, but you might get some weird looks from your coworkers.)
Voting closes at noon May 1 and the winners will be announced May 6.

But vote count is just one factor in winning Sexiest Vegan Next Door.

– A questionnaire.
– “PETA’s assessment of your physical attractiveness.” (Yep, apparently the folks who want animals treated ethically are totally cool with objectifying people.)
C5’s take
I’m not going vegan any time soon. I like steak and burgers and fried chicken and cheese and eggs and livermush and … well, you get the idea.

But, I have to say, if going vegan means looking like some of those male finalists, maybe I should rethink my stance.
