Lounge on the lawn at Anne Springs Greenway at the Comporium Amphitheater for their summer concert series. Bring a blanket and buy the beer and food truck fare there. The Greenway will be collecting school supplies for the Foundation for Fort Mill Schools Classroom Ready Program and activities will be available including a photo booth, bubbles, and slip-n-slide. $5 for non-members, FREE for members. Special event parking fee is $5 per car. This concert will feature Mr. Nigel & Friends.

(2) Kick Off Tailgate Season at the Black & Blue Party

Bacon everything, that’s what Bacon Bash brings. From bacon apps to desserts to cocktails, that’s what you’ll be noshing on come Saturday when Blackfinn Ameripub teams up with Eat Work Play. Sample unique, savory, bacon-inspired appetizers, desserts and delicious Patron cocktails along with bacon giveaways, a bumpin’ DJ and more. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, and this is a 21+ event (because of the Bacon Booze).

Best Bars Charlotte is throwing Beer Olympics to benefit Classroom Central. If you’re a beast in beer pong, flip cup and corn hole, assemble a team to raise funds for a great cause. Best Bars Charlotte includes Tyber Creek Pub, Connolly’s on Fifth, Dandelion Market, The Workman’s Friend and Prohibition. There will be three main events (beer pong, flip cup and cornhole) with prize packages for first-, second- and third-place winners.
