Smoking: It’s not for everybody at Charlotte Douglas airport
The Story
As of next week, many workers at Charlotte Douglas International Airport will no longer be able to light up on the airport’s property, even in areas where travelers can smoke.

The Facts
– The city/county have a new law that bans tobacco products at government buildings.
– The airport is a city building.
– Thus, employees are now no longer allowed to smoke, use vaporizing devices or smokeless tobacco on airport property or vehicles.

– However, visitors to the airport can still light up in designated areas. All of those areas are outside the terminal, so if you’ve already cleared security …

Seems like travelers didn’t care so much about the employee ban. But they are pretty ticked off about their own lack of smoking options:
