America’s Next Top Model contestant murdered; school nurse superintendent tried to kill ex
The Story
Wednesday was a full news day, with two crimes in particular standing out:
(1) America’s Next Top Model contestant reportedly among murder victims
– Police accuse Jesus Rangel of murdering four people over a three-day span. He’s 19.
– In the second murder, of three people, media outlets report one of the victims is Mirjana Puhar. She’s also 19.

– Puhar attended East Meck High, and later earned her GED at Central Piedmont Community College.
– She was a contestant last year on America’s Top Model.
(2) The school nurse who wanted to kill her ex
– Police say Fathia-Anna Davis tried to hire a hitman for $4,000 to knock off her ex-husband.

– The couple had a long, troubled history, with a custody battle, restraining order and simple assault in their background.
– Davis didn’t work in a school, but she was a supervisor who worked at a county office.
– When an acquaintance refused to kill her husband, police say, he hooked her up with two undercover officers posing as hitmen.
