11 Elevation Church stats that you may not know

Elevation Church is popping. You know that. Here are 11 Elevation stats that you may not know.

(1) $4.9 million – amount spent on their new University City Campus.

(2) 8,000 – approximate number of multi-site location churches. 10 years ago, this number was around 1,000. Worship is changing and Elevation is part of that macro trend.

(3) 1,500 – number of attendees that worship at the 3 Elevation worship locations outside of the Charlotte area (Raleigh, Roanoke & Toronto).

(4) $484,000 – estimate of weekly offering collections. Here’s a photo of their CFO Chunks Corbett:

(5) 35 – age of Steven Furtick, Elevation’s pastor. Interestingly, Dave Travis, CEO of Leadership Network said, “What we tend to see among founder-led churches is that, up until the senior pastor hits 45 or 50 years old, the church continues to truck along, but often, by then, there’s somebody else who is the hot young guy in town.”

(6) $24 million – budget for Elevations Ballantyne Campus. Most of Furtick’s preaching will take place once it’s complete in spring of 2016.

(7) $10.2 million – price of Elevation’s Mathews headquarters.

(8) 11th – Elevation’s ranking in the fastest-growing Protestant churches in America by Outreach Magazine.

(9) 75% – portion of worshippers that see Furtick preach via a screen.

(10) 13 – Elevation church locations.

(11) 17,000 – number of Elevation Church worshippers each weekend.
