Red Ventures charters big planes to take hundreds of employees to Cancun. 8 trip Instas.
The Story
Hundreds of Red Ventures employees arrived back in Charlotte on Monday with a new, Cancun tan. For several years now, Red Ventures has chartered big commercial planes (update: heard the plane was a double decker) and taken leaders/top agents to the Caribbean for an offsite. It seems like it’s part employee appreciate, part bonding and part strategy. Whatever it is, it’s working if you consider their recent $250 million investment at a rumored $1 billion valuation. This year’s trip was dubbed “Cancun 2015” and had it’s own logo, survival guide, swag, etc. Keynote speaker for the trip was Nigel Morris, the managing partner of QED Investors. I love the idea of this trip and it’s a valuable marketing tool for Red Ventures.
