Adult Easter egg hunting in the form of brunch
So there’s the kids’ version of Easter egg hunts: running around a manicured lawn and knocking other kids down to get to colorful plastic eggs filled with all the candy.
Then there’s the adult version: zigging and zagging through church traffic to get to that egg-y brunch dish they’ve been fantasizing about since Friday. No candy necessary. But a Bellini might be nice.
Five egg-y brunch spots to hunt down on Easter:
(1) Napa on Providence
Brunch hours are 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Easter. Both the traditional brunch and lunch menus will be available.
Eggs include:
Winter Squash Frittata: fresh mozzarella, piquillo peppers and roasted potatoes.
Duck Confit Benedict: caramelized onions, wild mushrooms, poached eggs, cranberry hollandaise and roasted potatoes.

(2) Another Broken Egg Cafe
I mean, it’s all in the title, right? Open 7 a.m.-2 p.m. and serving their traditional menu.
Eggs include:
Huevos Rancheros: flour tortillas with black beans, mild green chilies, onions and two over-medium eggs, with Cheddar-Jack cheese and cilantro, salsa and sour cream sides, plus country potatoes.
Southwest Scramble: scrambled eggs, breakfast chorizo, onions, diced tomatoes and green chilies with Cheddar-Jack cheese, guac, salsa and flour tortillas.

(3) Nolen Kitchen
Brunch hours are 9 a.m.-3 p.m., with the kitchen serving this brunch menu.
Eggs include:
Breakfast Pita: scrambled eggs, feta, spinach, oven-roasted tomatoes, cucumber yogurt and a choice of home fries or grits.
Egg White Frittata: spicy shrimp, spinach and roasted tomato and served with home fries or stone grits and toast.

(4) Dandelion Market
Open for brunch 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and serving their traditional brunch menu.
Eggs include:
Carolina Shore Omelette: prawns, scallops, lump crab meat, peppers, onions and havarti topped with hollandaise and served with grits, hash browns or fruit.
Caprese Benny: French baguette crostini with tomato, mozzarella, a poached egg and a house pesto hollandaise.

(5) Owen’s Bagel and Deli
Because for goodness sake, you are allowed to keep it simple on a holiday.
Open 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Easter Sunday and serving their traditional menu.
Eggs include:
Mary’s Grubby Bubby bagel: Egg, Muenster, smoked cheddar, tomato and avocado on Bialy.
Hangover Helper bagel: Ham, egg and smoked cheddar on
onion.
