As I tried to get to a clear spot and park, one of the lights (the lower of the two) faded away. I was able to park and get out of my car and another neighbor joined me in observing the remaining ball of light. It was stationary, but pulsating a reddish-orange light. There was no sound. This lasted about 5 minutes before it slowly faded away or burned out.” Sept. 17, 2014. 5 minutes.
Raleigh: “I saw 4 disks in the clear sky. I took a very clear photo of what I witnessed. I was on the 10th floor of a tall office building when I walked out on the balcony to look at some unusual clouds….The objects looked like disks with a hole in the center. One was extremely large. (Maybe the size of a Walmart store). The other three around it were much smaller but in a triangular formation and slightly above the larger one.” Jan. 23, 2014. 3 seconds.
