(1) Jack Beagles
Looks sketchy on the outside, looks kinda sketchy on the inside too. But don’t be scared, this joint has the best hand breaded tenders in Charlotte. Plus awesome sauces too. Ask for them tossed in my favorite, Leg Humper.
(2) Boardwalk Billy’s
Order the B.F.F. – Burger, Fingers, & Fries. Tasty, filling, and the most bang for your buck on the Boardwalk.
(3) Pike’s Old Fashioned Soda Shop
You wouldn’t expect it, but Pike’s tenders, tossed in Buffalo are pretty unbelievable. Hand breaded tenders, served swimming in homemade buffalo sauce, with fresh blue cheese for dipping. Pair them with a real vanilla Coke and mac and cheese.
(4) Tavern on the Tracks
Awesome atmosphere, and even more awesome pub fare. Everything is homemade and fresh, including their award winning Gold Rush sauce. Tangy, sweet, and hot – makes them tenders unreal.
(5) Kickstand Charlotte Burgers-n-Bar
They may be best known for their burgers, but you gotta try their tender basket. Finding it on the menu is kinda like a Where’s Waldo hunt. Tossed in Spicy Tiger sauce… they’re grrrreat.
(6) Wet Willie’s
Ok, I know food is the last thing on your mind when you walk into Wet Willie’s. Go ahead, order a Call a Cab. Yes, get the souvenir cup. Now sit down and order the Love Me Tenders appetizer, and prepare to be amazed.
(7) Tenders Fresh Food
Technically not in Charlotte, but worth the drive to Cornelius. These guys only have Yard Bird, nothing else on the menu, so you know it must be good. Plus they have one of those Coca-Cola Freestyle machines – so fun. Get a side of buffalo bleu and a cherry vanilla Coke Zero.
(8) East Coast Wings
It may be a chain, but that doesn’t mean they skimp on quality. Plus there’s 75 wing sauces to choose from. #peoplepleasers Spiked Bourbon Street never disappoints.
(9) Hubee D’s
Tenders and handcut fries done right, and fast. Old Edisto Honey BBQ – legit. Plus cornbread with every order. A nice southern touch. Try the fried banana pudding too and prepare to be amazed…
(10) Strike City
Grab a lane, lace up your shoes, and order “The Perfect Game” appetizer. Hand-battered tenders, potato skins, and muzzy sticks. Handheld delights you can hold while bowling, if you’re super coordinated, which you’re not.
