Holy hats! This congresswoman has more than 1,000 of them.
U.S. Rep. Alma Adams wears a lot of hats. She’s a member of Congress (representing the 12th District of NC), a mother, a grandmother and retired professor. She also owns over 1,000 hats.
“She says she loves all of her hats but there are a few that are extra special,” said Shadawn Reddick-Smith, Rep. Adams’ communications director. “For instance, one of her favorites is a leopard fedora. She was arrested in the hat while protesting for fair wages for Kmart distribution center workers in Greensboro.”

I love this hat. It looks like there’s a Harry Potter lightning bolt on the band.
