MARSH TO THE OLYMPICS: Charlotte may be a long way from landing the Olympics, but the 2016 Games in Rio will have a little Charlotte flair.
SwimMAC Carolina CEO/Director of Coaching David Marsh was named as the women’s head coach for the U.S. Olympic Swimming team. Marsh has been around Olympians for a while now: He coaches 12 members of the 2015-16 U.S. national team, including Ryan Lochte, Cullen Jones and Micah Lawrence.
Charlotte’s Steph Curry also is a shoo-in for the 2016 Summer Games, playing for the U.S. basketball team.
