Eating the new Bojangles’ Cheddar Bo & Krispy Kreme Triple Chocolate Doughnut
Bojangles’ and Krispy Kreme just launched new limited time offerings. “LTO” as they call it in the biz.
So, I ate them both within 10 minutes. Somebody had to taste test for you. Don’t tell my doctor.
Name: Krispy Kreme – Triple Chocolate Doughnut
Price: $1.09
Availability: Now until end of January
Description: “A yeast shell filled with decadent dark chocolate kreme, topped with milk chocolate icing, mini chocolate chips and a drizzle of white chocolate ganache.”
Store Operator: “Yes, people seem to love them. The donut has lots of chocolate.”
C5 Grade: “B-” Overload of chocolate. Good price. Icing and chocolate chips together is intense.
Name: Bojangles’ Cheddar Bo Cheese Biscuit
Price: $1.59
Availability: Now until March
Description: “Two slices of thick, aged-to-perfection cheddar cheese melted inside a Bojangles’ made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuit.”
Store Operator: “Oh yeah, they are selling well. I had one guy in here around 5am and he bought a dozen.”
C5 Grade: “A” Straightforward. Grilled cheese, but not grilled, melted and on a biscuit. Also, I always prefer my cheddar “aged-to-perfection.”
